2026 Club Season Underway!!!
LVC 2026 Season opener
As we step into a new season, we want to welcome all athletes, families, coaches, and supporters to another exciting year with Lethbridge Volleyball Club. The gym has already been buzzing, with teams settling into their practice routines and several groups starting their tournament schedules. It’s been great to see everyone back on the court and building toward what looks to be a strong season.
Many of our teams have already started competed in early events bringing home very strong results! These early tournaments give our athletes a chance to get comfortable again, build chemistry, and see where they are at heading into the bigger competitions to come.
The first Premier tournaments begin January 31 for several age groups, and anticipation is already growing! Volleyball Alberta Premier weekends are always an important part of the season because they show the progress teams have made and give players the chance to test their skills against strong provincial competition.
We also have some home tournaments coming up for 13U girls and 16U girls! Check our socials for these team hosted events and come cheer them on! These events are always special for our club because they let us host the volleyball community here in Lethbridge. Thank you to the coaches, families, and volunteers who help make these tournaments happen. Your support is a huge part of what keeps our club running smoothly.
Another thank you goes out to everyone who upgraded their athlete for the season! Having those details completed helps us keep things moving as teams start their VA Premiers for the year.
As we begin the 2026 season, we remain focused on the values that have shaped LVC from the start: building strong teams, supporting athlete development, and creating an environment where our community feels welcome. With the largest volleyball program in southern Alberta, we are proud of the opportunities we offer and the direction our club continues to grow.
